Right from Procurement of standard Raw Material and checking of its Mechanical, Physical as well as Chemical Property, then in process Quality checks, Random Checkings & Finished Goods Physical and Dimensional Checks all done by specifically dedicated Team looking after Quality

rigorous Inspection Processes

Incoming Inspections

Performed on raw materials or parts received from suppliers in accordance to ASTM E8,E18,E23 Or ISO 6892,6508,148:

  • Visual inspection – for surface defects, corrosion, damage.
  • Dimensional inspection – using calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc. 
  • Chemical composition analysis – via spectrometer or lab testing.
  • Mechanical properties testing – hardness, tensile, impact, etc.

In Process Inspections

Carried out during manufacturing to catch defects early:

  • First article inspection (FAI) – verifies first piece from production. 
  • Dimensional checks – to ensure tolerances are maintained acc. toISO 14253. 
  • Fit and alignment checks – especially in assemblies.
  • Tool calibration checks – ensures measuring instruments are accurate. 
  • Statistical Process Control (SPC) – monitors process variation acc. to ISO 2859.

Final Inspections and Testing

Done before releasing the product in accordance to EN ISO 9712:

  • Visual and dimensional inspection – verifies final specs.
  • Non-Destructive Testing (NDT):
    • Ultrasonic Testing (UT) acc. to ASTM E164
    • Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT) acc. to ASTM E1444
    • Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT)
    • Radiographic Testing (RT)
  • Destructive Testing (sample-based):
    • Tensile, fatigue, impact, etc. 
  • Functional testing – checks if the component works as intended.
  • Pressure or leak tests – for valves, pipes and assemblies.
     

Documentation and Certification

  • Inspection reports
  • Test certificates (e.g., Mill Test Certificate, MTC)
  • Material traceability records acc. to ISO 1020
  • Quality Control (QC) documentation
  • 3.1/3.2 Certification
